Descending Night

Description

She looked up and saw a glowing fairy resting quietly on the lattice. The fairy's wings were like enamel flaking from a crown, their figure like a fine tooth broken from an ivory comb. At a soft call, the night wind lifted them, as if they might leave her at any moment.
