Description

All beauty in the world was like morning dew, pure and luminous, yet seldom lasting until noon. Fish and beasts leapt with early joy, only to end in wandering cries. High in the forest canopy, a lone white bird quietly watched all arrivals and all departures, its heart like a deep ancient well, untroubled by ripples.
