Tape Measure's Trek

Description

The little tailor dragged her tape-measure tail and stood on tiptoe. When she found a hole, her tail arched into a tiny bridge; when she found a gap, her tail dropped into a slide. One foot, one inch, one hair's breadth. She noted the distance to every hole.
