Thought in Bloom: First Light

Description

Where warblers sang in warm sunlight, the breeze through the grass carried the scent of herbs. East of the herb fence, west of the herb fence, one still remembered that promise made in the rain. Tender green shoots arched like slender brows, as a tiny butterfly came to rest among them.
