I had only intended a carefree journey, yet somehow I stumbled into this secluded, isolated place... I fear I won't be able to leave anytime soon. ... Since I'm here, I'll make the best of it. Today, I discovered a mural in a nearby cave—good heavens... Even in this ruined state, thickly covered in dust, its majesty still shines through... I must be out of my mind, thinking of restoring it... My childhood training in painting—I wonder how much of it will suffice... This is no small undertaking... ... Well, then. If I can truly bring it back to life, to witness such a Mythic Realm with my own eyes... then the journey will not have been in vain.
