Stoneville/History

Stoneville is a town in the Heartcraft Kingdom that was once part of the ancient Stonewoods region.

## Pre-Migration

During the Age of Divinity, the humans of the Stonewoods were spread throughout the region, which was one contiguous land mass. However, the Stonetree Disaster caused the people of Prosperville to abandon their home completely, as it had become uninhabitable.

## Formative Period

Stoneville was founded by immigrants from the Abandoned District approximately two to three centuries ago. These original founders left sometime during the period of increasing earthquakes and danger, but before the final, devastating earthquake that destroyed the entire region. However, many later settlers came to Stoneville with practically nothing, having fled during the disaster and barely escaped with their lives.

One sheriff and his guardian Bowler became famous heroes of the period, rescuing evacuees from the earthquakes and rising Stonetrees, including Rae's ancestor. He assisted in the construction of the town, and was later memorialized by a statue in his honor. The Dye Workshop, the most iconic building in the town, was rebuilt by Spindle's ancestors.

## Later History

Stoneville fought in two major wars in the past several centuries: the Mistveil War and the War of the Descendants.

## Present-Day

Due to their distaste for Florawish and Wishing Woods customs, few residents of the town were affected by the Quick-Wish Bottles. There was only one notable coma victim, Dartanion Mancini, who was later awoken by Nikki.
